DG-RA: Domestic Gas Safety (CCN1) & Appliances Training & Re-Assessment

Advance 4 Training offering Domestic Natural Gas Safety CCN1 course and appliances re-assessment aimed at Gas Installers who need to renew their ACS qualifications in order to maintain their membership with Gas Safe register.This course can be completed up to six months prior to the expiry date of existing qualifications without loosing out the remaining period (MOT Style). The renewal date of new qualifications start from the expiry date of their existing qualification.Package Price includes for CCN1, CPA1 and two appliances re-assessment, if any candidate required more than two appliances at same time then £85.00 ex vat for each appliance will be added to the price. On successful completion of CCN1 (plus appliances) Re-assessment, candidate will be issued a CERT-AIN certificate for core domestic Gas Safety (CCN1) and the appliances they have undertaken.

Course structure
One day refresher training and updates if any. Two days for theory and practical re-assessment. This course can be completed up to six months prior to the expiry date of existing qualifications without loosing out the remaining period (MOT Style).   • Updates covered in this course on:
  • Gas Safety Regulations and other relevant legislation,
  • Gas emergency Actions and Procedures,
  • Combustion,
  • Gas pressures and Gas rates.
  • Pipe work and fittings, Tightness testing and purging,
  • Chimney systems (flue flow test, Spillage test etc.)
  • Ventilation,
  • Gas Unsafe situation procedures,
  • Gas Controls,
  • Flue gas analysis,
  • Re-establish existing Gas supply and relight procedures.
Prerequisite
  • Must produce in original existing/previous certificates to qualify for Re-assessment. Gas Safe Register Card is not sufficient to qualify for Re-Assessment.
  • Must complete the course no more than 12 months after the expiry date of their existing qualifications.
  • Training is not a pre-requisite for assessment. With refresher training, candidate may be better prepared for the ACS assessment.
