Advance 4 Training provides 8 days course for those New Entrant Candidates, Who want to become members of a competent person’s scheme which will allow the operative to self-certify the work and scheme provider will notify Local Authority Building Control on the operative’s behalf. This Course is delivered as a Package or an individual course. The package includes Domestic Electrical Installer course which includes Fundamentals of Electrics, Safe isolation, Fundamental Inspection & Testing, Building Regulations for Electrical Installations in Dwellings including Part P and the IET regulations BS7671:2018 (18th Edition). This course is designed for new entrant candidates and covers in depth study and practical knowledge.

Course structure
*FIRST STAGE: Domestic Electrical Installer course which includes Fundamentals of Electrics, Safe isolation, Fundamental Inspection & Testing, Building Regulations for Electrical Installations in Dwellings including Part P. This course includes theory and practical training to ensure that simple and safe installation practices are established from the start and followed throughout their duration.* SECOND STAGE: 18th edition, wiring regulations BS 7671:2018. *Candidates will need to have a copy of and should study before attending the course. *BS7671:2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations - IET Wiring Regulations BS7671:2018 *IEE On-Site Guide; BS7671: 2018 *Guidance Note 3: Inspection & Testing (Electrical Regulations).

Prerequisite
  • This course is designed for new entrant candidates but applicants have previous experience in the installation and maintenance of domestic electrical installations get more benefit.
Achievement on completion
On successful completion of assessment, candidate will gain the Domestic Electrical Installer certificate which includes Fundamental of electrics, Safe isolation, Fundamental Inspection & Testing and Building Regulations for Electrical Installation in Dwellings (Including Part P).
