  • Course Structure
    • Training and Assessment of all courses can be completed within 4 days
  • Course Content

    • The following topics will be covered during this course:

    • DHWSS: One-Day Domestic Hot Water Storage Systems including Unvented Training and Assessment to meet the current G3 Building Regulations.
    • Water Regulations (WRAS Approved) One-Day Water Regulations (WRAS Approved) Course for Heating and Plumbing Installers. WRAS Certification is essential for any Plumber looking to apply to their local Water Authorities “Water Industry Approve Plumber Scheme”. The course is fully recognised by WRAS as meeting their qualification requirements.
    •  Central Heating Controls: This course provides in-depth knowledge of different Central Heating Controls and Wiring Systems.
    • Energy Efficiency Part L: This course is designed for Domestic Heating Installers to provide the knowledge and understanding of Heating System Design and Install to comply with Part L of the Building Regulations.
  • Prerequisite

    • Operatives wishing to take these qualifications shall hold domestic ACS or OFTEC or one of the following qualifications (or equivalent earlier certification that provides evidence or competence):

    • N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing  
    • N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Heating and Ventilating (Domestic Installation)
    • N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Heating and Ventilating (I & C Installation) 
    • N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Oil-Fired Technical Services 
    • N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Gas Installation and Maintenance
  • Achievement Upon Completion

    • Upon successful completion, the Candidate will receive a Certificate of Competence for each course from either AdSkills Certification or Cert-ain Certification.
